My story

By Louise Glazebrook

The Darling Dog Company has been my dream for a number of years and finally I decided to fully immerse myself in the world of our four legged best friends.

I have studied under the renowned John Rogerson, I assist and work closely with Joe Clarke, Islington Senior Dog Warden & Animal Welfare Officer, am a canine first responder, (dog first aid) , worked with rescue dogs in situ and am part of the Holly&Lil team - to name but a few.

I believe that variety is the name of the game when working with dogs as they are amazingly individual and unique. It is also crucial for us all to see how the different sides of life effect our dog’s as well as us. Appreciating this has enabled me to gain a more rounded and developed understanding of what our dog’s in today’s society are facing and having to cope with and therefore help them find a contented, balanced and peaceful life.

As a child and teenager growing up in Cambridge I owned and cared for cocker spaniels, a long haired Chihuahua and a beautiful black Labrador called Gus .I am now the owner of a gorgeous little magical creature who goes by the name of Cookie, a 2 ½ yr old English Bulldog who is the light of my life. With her spirited personality and wiggling ways she has taught me a great deal
and is my constant companion. She was recently
the mascot of GMTV a.k.a ‘Mrs.Muttivator’ and I often use
her when working with children, as she adores them
and they her!

Please note that I am fully insured,
CRB checked, am a Canine First Responder
and can provide references on request.
I would love to hear from you and your
soon to be darling dog...
